Easily the most inspirational speech I've ever heard, I stumbled across it a week or so ago and this must be at least my tenth time watching it since and it still has the same impact, I shared it on Facebook because so many more people need to hear this (around 7 billion to be exact) but I got no response lol it seems people are too busy looking at photo's of people's lunch to take 3 and a half minutes out of their precious lives to hear something that could change their whole outlook on life :(

Stupid comment. One person does not have the resources to feed everyone (unless they're incredibly wealthy), but it can easily be done if people with the resources made it happen.  What theredflag was saying is that the technology and resources exist to feed the world, but they are not utilized to their full potential.

When you say "we could already feed the whole world, except we waste so much," I disagree. If you are saying "we" then why are you not doing that? Are you feeding your neighbors? Are you doing what you can? Governments don't move. People move. Governments are made of the people. Someone doesn't just get magically fed because you want the gov't to do it. Don't worry about what you do not have control over. If you can only feed yourself, that's okay. JUST DO what YOU can. Everyone has greatness.

yup, thats definitely true. but if you read the comments from the guy i was replying to he was basically saying christianity has NEVER caused war and that it has never hindered science (i didn't even respond to that one :\) i was correcting his obviously misinformed (or troll like) perceptions, not discussing propaganda itself (although that factored in pretty heavily.)
