This is great because i have the hardest time relaxing my upper body. My shoulders tend to tense up. I can't have my arms that low when I'm on the treadmill but I'll be sure to try these techniques outside. Any tips on transitioning from treadmill to outside?

As I step forward I kick to get a full stretch on my hamstring thus giving me a longer stride, my elbows are kept closer to my mid section with the palms of my hands facing inward to reduce drag. I don't know if this is the best form, it works for me : )

I need to start doing this: the midfoot land. So can anyone attest to going faster as a result of this as opposed to heel strike? I know its the correct form.
