To sum up, season two of Power Rangers becomes... complicated. Footage from four different sources, a new ranger, Peace Conferences, more new rangers, and almost the most negligible resemblance to Gosei Sentai Dairanger!

  • For anyone hoping to watch Dairanger, if DtKnigdom's channel gets taken down or loses the Dairanger eps, TV-Nihon at time of writing has 40 episodes subbed with DVD-ripped footage.

  • @StevenUlyssesPerhero Unfortunately, DtKingdom's channel was taken down around a year ago, so thanks for mentioning this. Hopefully it will help some people out.

  • whats a ......keiren? idk what you called it?

  • @EATIT41 It's a kirin or qilin (look up the latter on wikipedia for more info, as Kirin is the Japanese rendering, which makes sense for a Japanese show). It's a creature from Chinese mythology, often used as a good luck omen.

  • @MistareFusion Ever seen the anime "Pet Shop of Horrors"? There's one episode where the Kirin is described as a guiding spirit for powerful leaders.

  • @BluntmanEXE Can't say that I have, but thanks for pointing that out!

  • Congrats on getting this video linked to a Cracked article!

  • @Quinnknights The green ranger had a nifty shield, and so did the "gold" ranger later on, yet no one ever made them leaders...

  • @KamenRiderHellhound cool! now i know :D

  • @EATIT41 It's a mythological creature that was created by the Chinese made up when they first saw a Giraffe.

  • This does explain how Tommy suddenly had a sudden personality shift when going from green to white, while also explaining why Tommy was appearing more often when he became the white rangers.

  • In my opinion, SABAN should have stopped trying so hard to keep mighty morphin going for so long. They should have kept the same actors and had them inherent the dairanger powers, costumes, etc. Would have been a whole lot easier for them to do.

  • the actor who played trini in MMPR, thuy trang died. it was around 2001-2002.

  • it funny i was on netflix today and i saw when jason hit the lipstick monster and i laughed wow, (sarcastically " i wonder what was cut footage " lol)

  • @MistareFusion He is on D a i l y m o t i o n with the same name and more subbed episodes and movies!

  • After The Power Transfer episode, the next 10 episodes were focused on Rocky, Adam, and Aisha. This is basically to showcase the audiences on what these 3 new Rangers could do. From here on, the tone of the series became lighter and lighter. Overall, Season 2 underwent the most amount of changes.

  • Austin, Walter, and Thuy only appear on set for like 19 episodes in Season 2. And starting from Zedd's Monster Mash to The Power Transfer (Part 2), it became very obvious that Austin, Walter, and Thuy have long left the series. My eyes nearly fooled me when I actually thought that Jason, Zack, and Trini were actually in the episode.

  • I think I get it now. Starting from The Power Stealer Episode, SABAN started using the MMPR Full Theme Song by Ron Wasserman for all the Morphing and Thunderzord sequence. And after the dismissal of Jason, Zack, and Trini, the tone of the series became lighter and lighter. Rocky, Adam, and Aisha made the series look like a joke.
