Royal Marines Special Ops team in a combat zone deep in a woodland and river enviroment. PROMOTIONAL VIDEO ONLY.. NOT REAL. Filmed on location with full safety procedures (NO REAL BULLETS) just clever filming and a lot of fun to do.

@inky326 GROW UP... we use the L85A2 actually.. sa80 is not official name... and we use varied weapons... so which force do you serve in.. MR EXPERT... NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.... As an elite unit we have access to mutiple weapon platforms..

Iraq was a success, I was there to see it end. The Iraqi army is capable of holding their own. ANA needs a bit more work

@USMarineRifleman0311 Look at Iraq today mate. Do you call that a success? The UK cut it's lossses because the main goal of Iraq was achieved. The main goal was to oust Saddam and change the oil currency back into the US $. The UK (nor the US) isn't going to keep it's forces in Iraq/Afghanistan forever. UK's forces were needed here the fighting was actually taking place which was Helmand at that time.
Iran is the next focus

the basrah pull out was negotiated between british forces and the enemy. The town was under literal siege from foreign militia. There was no excuse. 2007 was the bloodiest of years in Iraq and you abandoned the southern sector, your only responsibility.
Im sure 3/5 handed out candy in Marjah and Sangin....candy apparently pacified both of those strongholds. Please dont claim the elite bullshit. You still have more troops in Helmand and more KIA than we sent over in 09

In 2007, the USMC only had a few battalions in Helmand, we couldnt wait for the DoD to unleash us to unfuck the Afghan war in 2009.

@cockneyfug Brittish army no not normally. Special forces like SBS and coms or RM have the option of selecting their own kit according to mission parametres. Hence the FNFAL, M4 ,MP5sd

@USMarineRifleman0311? America has 100,000 soldiers in Afghanistan and they have decided to pull out in 2014 after tasting the Helmand for just a year lolz. As for Basrah, we pulled our forces out of there to go and do the real fighting in Helmand. Handing out candy to kids is the job of the US Marines. The UK has a small elite force and they are needed in the combat zone. We've been fighting Helmand longer than any of the coalition partners. The end result is still the same tho. We all pull out

PROMOTIONAL look it up in the dictionary.. The ignorance on this video is amazing, mrisniipe, do you really not know anything about Royal Marine Commandoes, of coures we use American weapons we use all sorts not just US ones christ sake this is amazing how all you armchair warriors think you know it all, FUCK OFF join up and see what is used yourself... so now to let all you KNOBS know this is a promotional video non live firing due to the safety aspects and was shot using REAL SOLDIERS not shooting as this was added as effects after OK.
