@mlmasari They were very poorly managed. And even though ensemble and stage presence wise they were as good if not better than their contemporaries (Stones and Beatles), they certainly lacked the song writing creativity. Not that Eric couldn't write a tune (look at White Houses from 68), but they were blues purists and lovers to a fault that they eschewed original songs in favor of covers. The Stones were the opposite. I think that hurt their standing compared to other bands of that time...

I have it on a "best hits" type collection I got on Ebay, and I just love it! One version was heard on the radio once; but it was done by some other people.
I looked up that version, it was a man and lady duo, and it was really good! Then I heard the Animals version, and found that I like them both! I couldn't find the Animals' version on "You Tube" though, until tonight.

I remember buying the cars album because i thought it was the same song! My dad laughed as I told him trumphantly how i bought him the song he like. Luckily the store took back the album and allowed me to exchange it. :)
