AU. Michael and Sara already dated before Lincoln was arrested for the murder of Steadman. After a talk with his brother Michael believes in his innocence. Sara can't believe that quite as easily. She never met Lincoln, only heard about the stuff he did from Michael. By not believing she hurts Michael and they loose contact... or more like Michael keeps his distance. Sara misses him and has the feeling that she completely lost him, especially after so much is happening in his life, that she can't understand. Not only does Michael rob a bank, he also is suddenly married.
It's basically Sara angry with herself about loosing him from her life.
Author's Note: You might have already noticed it, it's kind of similar in structure to the "What If" video, this video is from Sara's POV though.

Her fiancée in Tarzan is actually called Michael, but he dies petty early in the series.
