Jack skids the stump piles together

Our neighbor Jack uses his skidder to push the stumps together into one pile. We burned as much as we could, and now they'll compost into hillocks.

yeah i did the same thing too ,dad had two Ds and we excahanged the axels to drott 40 cruz air no more broken planetarys!and we have a hc ml not as quick but shell pull a load and she has the 19 also,if you know of any vidieo of the ox let me know ok thanks!!

I also spent a fair amount of time on a D model Mountain logger in the early days. Chain drive on the drum,(Gearmatic 9a) ran off the pto on the side of the trans. Boss liked to chew my butt if I returned to the landing w/pto still engaged. I've still got an old Garrett 21 skidder, similar sized machine but with better drum (19a) stronger steering ect. Great to see the D model!! Thanks.
