When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.

i grow tired of talking to delusional people who are too uneducated or intelligent enough to actually use the internet to gather facts about your religion. in mere minutes you could discover that your jesus and god are only myths made by man for control and comfort. trade you bullshit bible for a copy of the origin of species and acutally learn something. faith.....the new stupid.

@JESUStheATHEIST1 God didn't condone any of those things. I don't know what Bible you're reading but obviously its not giving you a true representation of God. God does not accept things that are unholy or unrighteous. God completely wiped out Sodom because there was so much of the evil that you spoke of and the people refused to change and God WOULD NOT TOLERATE IT. I'm not yelling that was just emphasis. God is love, brother. Not those things you falsely accuse him of being.

@JESUStheATHEIST1 But that's just it. It was RELIGION that fostered the issues. People who, in their own minds, had good intentions took the Word of God out of context and used it as justification for their horrible deeds. It wasn't that God said, "Go kill all who oppose this religion." It was men who decided to do what they wanted. If you spent 5 minutes with a Bible in your hands you would know that God is LOVE. He does NOT condone hate or violence, but grace, mercy, and LOVE.
