I looked at his biography on Wikipedia and it said that Les Dennis was born on 12 October 1953, so, he was actually 33 when he recorded his first series of Family Fortunes.

i was shocked when les dennis' face appeared on the board just before he came into the studio, and so, that's why i say that when les dennis had blonde hair and a big white smile, that makes him a blonde-headed bitch!

Les Dennis was 32 when he recorded his first series of Family Fortunes. Les was also at the time the show's youngest host as Max Bygraves and Bob Monkhouse were a lot older than him.

The board they use in the current Family Fortunes with Vernon Kay is similiar to the one used here in Les Dennis' first series but botoxed.

The reason they got rid of the 1987 colour board is because the producers received thousands of complaints from viewers about the new board as lots of people hated it. I don't know why they hated it, but that's the reason why they got rid of it.
