It really is supposed to be this fast. I agree with songpidgeon, because you guys are in middle school, your director may have thought the origonal speed was too difficult.

The tempo is suppost to be this fast sweetie... it was slowd down for your choir because it may have been too difficult for it to be sung in the fast speed.
