Another question.. When you buy the bulb and seperate them into cloves and plant them.. Will the cloves grow into bulbs again?

I noticed at the end of the video, you covered the garden with mulch i think.. i dont know. but did you cover the garlic to keep them warm through winter? Or is that for feeding too?

I love the small river at the background.

what do u plant to have garlic growing... seeds or the actual garlic bulbs

I'm growing garlic. It's great stuff. You can clip the green parts a bit as they grow and it won't hurt them at all. The green part is great diced into soups and other foods. :)

what a beautiful day and such a beautiful video...you seem very happy brother...just today I decided to plant all these old garlic heads that are all practically shrinking...and here you are!!...we must be connected somehow!!... it is so green over there...what a pretty stream you have there, that is great...are you using the water from it...is it a little lake?...nice seeing your place here.
I just use a bulb bought from the shop - just break it up and plant each clove with pointy end up. So easy to grow.

Just beautiful. Great to hear how you are going. Queensland has THE best Winters ..from a Brisbane girl now in Tassie. I am trying carrots, garlic and potatoes too....wish me luck. I sure do wish I had some garlic spray...sure do hate having to buy it. Your vid makes me miss home. Thanks for the update. ceya

Hey thanks for the comment, we just had our first frost here so it isn't always warm! The frost seemed to burn my potatoes a little but hopefully they will recover. I think you would do ok with the garlic especially if you mulch as mine don't seem to have felt the frost at all. I also just planted carrots, but they are only seedlings at the moment so hard to see if the frost has hurt them?
