Duke researchers find a modest but consistent amount of exercise is enough to make a dent in the skyrocketing incidence of metabolic syndrome, a condition that dramatically increases the risk of heart disease, stroke or diabetes.

  • Yep, I defintely have metabolic syndrome, Let myself go a bit. I Stopped all junk and am exercising, scale does not want to budge. Even 5 years ago, if I would have done the same thing, pounds would have dropped quickly. Thick abdominal fat, high BP, high LDL, low HDL, prediabetic fasting glucose levels if I start eating too many carbs, just to name a few of the symptoms I have. No ones fault but my own. Carbs are very problematic for me, eat too many and I get constant painful hunger. Cheers!

  • Seeing that my cholestrol was high was the first clue that I had let go of my health. It had never been that high before (172 mg/dL) and i was worried. I began looking into my options for lowering it, and saw the site for Sterolyn. When I read about the clinical studies I was sold. I have reduced by now 20% of my cholesterol levels and feel great!
