2 Deliveries today, leaving home at 5am we head south to the beautiful countryside of West Sussex, a small farm not too far from Brighton.
After delivering a large wooden Green house, complete with glass, we now head north towards our second destination, a delivery of six wooden and glazed windows to another little village near Stansted Airport in Essex.

Along the way, I had a pleasant surprise, being overtaken by 2 driver colleagues, who by coincidence just happened to be following each other heading south, both going to different destinations. Chances of three of us being together in the same place, same time, but each of us on different jobs, must be very slim. Made me smile.

  • a most enjoyable watch

  • @airbornerat Thank you, glad you enjoyed the ride, they are not always so relaxing as this one... :-)

  • I wonder what it would have been like if you went through essex city center at night Lol, if you know what a mean aye ;)

  • @MattMotors101 Maybe I can find out one of the days... ha ha

  • Must be precarious doing that! I have an aversion to glass myself long story but don't envy you there. Beautiful scenery and great cinematography as usual. The tunnel bit was interesting but how did you get the side shots? Just curious ;)

  • @rileyandstella Thanks for the nice comments, thankfully glass carrying only happens once in a while. The tunnel was all done in the editing really once I captured all the shots required to make it look interesting. I have a very good camera mount, useful for interesting shots. easy!! :-)

    Thanks

  • @liam21157 Thanks Liam, Im happy you liked it. :-)

  • @modemeyes Yes another great day for driving, cracking weather and no traffic problems.

Thankfully carrying glass is a rare event for me, I never enjoy it. The motorways are fine, smooth roads and all that. Its the side roads and country lanes which give me the headaches, the van begins to sway from side to side, not good for glass... ha ha

    Thanks for watching

    Paul :-)

  • Good weather for the journey, Paul, but I don't know about carting glass around.

  • @7784Patrick Yes thanks Patrick, Dartford crossing was very good today... ha ha

Maybe I got lucky with time of day, 10:00am, and not the rush hour. :-))

    more by luck than judgement.

I keep seeing "Sitra" trucks in England now everywhere... ha ha

    Thanks Patrick

    Have a good weekend

    Paul :-)
