are you from Denmark? :p 'cause obviously you're right about that it comes down to what you want yourself! I know a lot of Danes who've learn to speak with a british accent, but you must admit, it's harder than to speak with an american accent, for us :p

I dissagree. It comes down to what you want yourself. People tell me that I have a brittish accent, evne brits do. Schools do try to teach you the "american" way, wich is bad. I prefer the correct way. I know of a lot of danish and norwegians who can'tpronounce English words at all. But you can hear that the Norwegian guy is from Norway (in GOT) it's harder on the dane. If I was there, you'd think it was a brit. (I know I sound verry shallow ) :P.

yes it is! most Danish people sound like that when they speak English (at least the younger generation).... but of course some have a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery strong Danish accent, hehehehe, but it's pretty easy for Danes to speak with an American accent.

I think it's easier for Danes to speak English, than Norwegians. ( Not necessarily when it comes to our vocabulary, just the pronounciation of the English words) We sound a bit like Canadians/Americans, when we speak it, 'cause the way we pronounce things in Danish is pretty similar to those dialects.

I pictured him with a British accent. I guess because he plays such a convincing villain that it would be natural to assume that he had a British accent.
