Here we have my son (4years old) tryin out his improved go-kart on the nearby industrial estate.
Based on a Mobility scooter back axle and scratch built frame and front end.
Using Mini-moto front discs with mini quad mechanical callipers with a floating front axle to help over bumps.
This is now upgraded from 24v as standard with 10.5" dia wheels to 12.5" dia wheels with 36v alot more fun!!
The controller is a yiyun yk43b capable of going to 70v now that would be fun for a 4 year old.!!!!!!!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

  • Thanks for the comment.

I didnt use the mobility controller as this wasnt available at the time of construction.

As mentioned in the explanation under the vid I use a YK43 controller from evil-bay which has a voltage range from 24v to 70v.

This has the downside of no braking ,but I made him front discs from a mini-moto so stoppin is no problem.

  • Damn camera sounds like its gonna take off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

  • He`s a little tentative with it on this vid as it goes faster now with the mods so some of the time he`s not givin it the works.

  • How did you wire up the controller so it didn't burn it out? I want to add a battery to my mobility scooter to make it go faster.
