Watch as we review the White Metal/Twin Stack Class A Wood Stove Chimney Pipe components that will help you prepare for installation of this and the interior pipe to go with it. We also have a shorter video review of chimney components posted here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_zf2WNaAD0
This video reviews the complete process from the stove brochure specifications and owners manual specs thru the series of components for all aspects of a vertical installation. We review the methods of installing single wall stove pipe with a slip connector and optional stove pipe shield for closer clearances or Dura Vent DVL Double Wall stovepipe as another option for closer wall clearances to combustibles. You will find all of these components on our web site ready to order at http://woodheatstoves.com/wood-stove-chimney-pipe-and-single-wall-stovepipe-c... We do sell a wide variety of other chimney pipe for wood, pellet and gas stoves and only have a small portion of them listed on our web site. Although each brand of chimney differs in their specific components, this video review may be valuable in considering any modern chimney installation. This type of installation is only suitable for a licensed contractor trained in this type of installation. Contact us if you need further assistance in ordering these parts at info@woodheatstoves.com

  • There are specific parts for each aspect of installation. We do have diagrams with parts lists on our web site under CHIMNEY PIPE at WoodHeatStoves . com You can also email us there thru "contact us" link and we will be glad to give you all the information you need.

  • We don't recommend sealant pipe for stove pipe and it is not recommended by any pipe manufacturers. The joints seal adequately right out of the box.

Thanks for the compliments. After over 30 years of helping customers understand the details of their stove and chimneys it is fantastic to now reach out so effectively to thousands. We're thrilled that our previous chimney video has had over 20,000 viewings in the last year so we added this one. email us at info at woodheatstovesdotcom

  • I think I'm missing the stainless "slip connector" shown at 5:02 in my home. I have single wall pipe going up to the ceiling, then a black 14" long slip connector installed upside down going INSIDE the double wall pipe!? It's been this way for years. I just noticed it when I had to replace a piece of the single wall. Am I just missing the stainless adapter? Thanks!

  • Extremely informative! Thank You!

  • What do I use to install it through the wall? Can I used a double wall stainless "t" piece?

  • Great video do you have to use any tube sealant to seal pipes together?

Aboout time someone did a video as informative as this one!

    thank you..
