Rare Audio Recording)

Dwight Yoakam sings an amazing
acoustic version of 'Suspicious Minds' Live
at the Hammersteins Ballroom. 8/21/99.

Note: I did not make this recording,
so don't blame the quality on me, I
just share it regardless of quality!

  • He'd only sang for 6 seconds by then, I think you should give it more of a chance, it's wonderful :)

  • how can I find a video of Dwight YOAKAM SINGING SUSPICIOUS MINDS - WHERE HE HAS A GIRL IN CHAINS WRAPPED AROUND HIM

  • On Dwight's official website :) You can watch all of his official music videos there....

  • This is more Pop than Country. It lacks several nods to Country and mainly I like it so it can't be too country.

  • I suppose Dwight has his own special brand of 'country' he does refer to his stuff as 'country rock', I think ;) Is one of the reasons a lot of people who don't normally go for country like him a lot! :D

  • @cliffworks4321 It's a love of music and I don't care where you choose to put it.

  • @cliffworks4321 "That bison carcass gave us the squirts" would be what: Blues, Swing, Polka...?

  • Dwight Rules!

  • the only labels we need are small, medium, large, and for guys like me... extra large,

for music no labels please, Why? well, when music was invented by early primates to signal each other about issues of the day like, HOLY SHIT, LOOK OUT out there's a primate eating monster behind you! did they have labels? nope. so pls no labels be it country, rock, hillbilly,

ok, maybe we can have an exception like 'primate eating ballad, under the boardwalk out of the sun..'

  • I just looovvveeee that suddle little "We Can't Go on Together"

  • he's the s**t i love this he comes so close to Elvis !

  • He is not trying to be Elvis. But giving him the respect of his admiration.I love it Dwight!
