Who should start at QB for the Washington Redskins: Rex Grossman or John Beck?

The QB controversy has officially begun in Washington, as Redskins QB Rex Grossman's four-INT performance in a loss against the Philadelphia Eagles has given John Beck a shot at the starting job.

Wait until the Skins draft a QB next year and maybe sign or draft a receiver. They are going to be dirty.

John Beck is the best answer Washington has had since.........damn, its been long. This guy has a legitimate chance, once he relaxes and understands the scheme more to become a household name just like Aaron Rodgers or a Flacco. I don't think that he is a bust. Besides, BYU is a very prestigious school and no dummies attend that school. The drives he put up against Philly were damn good and he was the same during Preseason. Its not Rex's interceptions, its the fact that he is consistent.

John Beck doesn't have to make large plays. He has to manage a game because Washington is a running team. He just needs to make throws to keep the defense honest. He will do fine, he is a better upgrade. He won't turn the ball over as much. Also for those saying QBs don't get better in their 30s...Doug Williams, I rest my case.

@khadeemw91 Everything in Miami shouldn't be included. Dolphins are a terrible team, with horrid coaching and almost no talent at WR. Beck, has not shown enough of himself to be judged so harshly and precisely. All i'm saying is that wait till this game to be final with your judgment.

@CRFxX i saw him with my own eyes....i live in MD i see every redskins game regular and preseason....i saw in Miami....he will be serviceable at best but he is no upgrade over grossman....neither are top 30 QB's in this league

Miami and late in the last game....hes a 29 year old quarterback....not too many quarterbacks change their colors at that age...ppl thought Rex changed, look at their faces now....hes terrible....Beck isnt gonna be anymore than what Rex is....hell probably turn the ball over less....but he wont make too many plays

David Garrard....John Beck has an incredibly inconsistent arm.....hes like Eli Manning with no smarts...Rex Grossman is rex grossman....neither one of those quarterbacks would get the job done
