I'm a newb to this game as I had NES/Genesis instead growing up and only got to play Super Mario Kart for SNES a handful of times as a kid. How does the long boost work? I can get it started but it seems like it ends really fast even when I haven't hit anything or hit the gas. Is it only supposed to last a few seconds then wear off?

@xotic82 - it is edited mate, from one pro to another, you should just admit it. (the last race, the 2 drivers start in the wrong grid slots) othewise a great vid with great skills cheers.

shortcut on donut plains 1 was sick but not stylish (a nuetral statement); koopa-troopa's poweslide on the last track was sweet; but the ghost house race needs a lot of work. expert level, but still room to grow. not even racing with the big dogs, yet. I do appreciate the uploading of the video. More than I can prove. Cheers.

@MrKyleRego came too close to the bump, wouldn't get the momentum to make it over. lot of crappy driving in those vids.

xotic, please tell me this, when you're drifting, how do you stop perfectly at each corner and keep going? is there some secret to drifting in this game? cuz i notice you hop before each turn, maybe that has something to do with it?

@shadowhalo24 If you're talking about power sliding you just press the jump button, stear the way you want and hold it until you want to straighten out.
