A bomb determined, later to have been placed in a coin-operated locker in a baggage pickup area of New York City's LaGuardia Airport, killed eleven and injured 74 people. The bombing was never solved. In this report, WOR radio, New York, interrupts a program in progress to report on the bombing. At the time of broadcast, it was assumed mistakenly that the bomb had arrived in luggage from an incoming flight.
