Here's a quick update from the DOME. The chard has continued to RISE UP!! Just waiting for it to produce some seeds, so I can collect it...then in go some more HEIRLOOM TOMATOES!!

Temps are in the 90's outside now...in the dome...with the shade cloth over the top, we're staying about 10- 15 degrees cooler.

Have FUN...Growing your own Food!!

  • do you leave a door open to let insects in to pollinate? If not how do you get the tomatoes to form? thks

  • @tinslatee there are 4 vents, that open during the day...no screens covering these vents....pollinators are free to come and go. The really cool thing, is the vents are opened automatically via pressure. Beeswax melts...creating pressure...opening the vents...they're called BAYLISS vents. Cool stuff.

  • Very nice job with raised beads and mulching

  • @Zcrazynutman Thanks Zcrazynutman...i'm diggin the name bro :)

  • hey dude , you got yourself a very beautiful growing dome ,, so many plants , how do you recognize each of them ..are you horticulturist ?

  • @FilthyRichPrick1 Hey there...no...but I love reading all the horticulturist books and info I can get my hands on... :) I call myself...a gardener
