Tiffany DeCastro presenter for the ECM Music Show which played on CTV in Christchurch New Zealand interviews legendary harmonica player and character Larry Adler. Lary was here promoting his new album "Glory of Gershwin" which featured duets with some of the worlds biggest stars such as Meatloaf, Elton John and Bono. He tells of his colourful life, working with Gershwin, and plays a stunning rendition of Summertime on piano and harmonica simultaneously. Has anyone seen or heard Larry Adler playing Slaughter on 10th Avenue? I have been searching for years. There was a Columbia vinyl record of this but I never was able to find it again after I was a kid. Maybe it wan't Larry Adler, but it was played with Harmonica along with a full orchestra. Help!

Don't listen to anyone saying something ridiculous like 'stevie wonders is better at it' because they are stupid sheep who know little to nothing about proper appreciation of an artist or their music, such as Larry Adler. This isn't drumming or guitar playing, so don't try to compare it in skill like it's some sort of silly little competition!
