Nama je posebno ostala u sjećanju, jer je za vrijeme agresije na našu domovinu za CNN izvještavala iz BiH. Amanpour je uveliko doprinjela da se u svijetu sazna istina o strahotama rata u Bosni i Hercegovini. Njeno izveštavanje je podstaklo SAD da reaguju i zaustave genocid nad Bošnjacima. Intervju je obavio Kenan Ćerimagić sa Hayatovog Centralnog dnevnika, 19. 4. 2008. god. Intervju je na engleskom, ali je titlovan na bosanski jezik.

i am reading 'life and death in the balkans' by bato tomasevic, an ethnic montenegrin raised in kosovo, later a diplomat & journalist in tito's belgrade...it is brilliantly insightful on yugoslav wars. i had a friend who has travelled through much of former yugoslavia.

he considers serbian serbs more 'sophisticated' than bosnian or croatian serbs. this obsession with reviving the empire belongs to another age. once republika srpska accepts that bosnia & herzegovina will move forward.
