This is a video I edited about the innocent lives who died and are still dying everyday because of War or violence.

It shows images or videos from World War II, Vietnam War, Iraq War, and from other violence that happened in the world, including the Virginia Tech shooting, that just happened 5 days ago.

The background music is from Black Eyed Peas song "Where is the love"

-------------------------------------------

Peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of creative alternatives for responding to conflict -- alternatives to passive or aggressive responses, alternatives to violence.

  • Wow, your video is amazing in that it tries to compare the sahooter at VT to a victim of war. He was a pathetic loser who killed innocent people who were doing good things with their lives. Liberals piss me off.

  • To me there is not difference between the victims of war or the victims who died in Virginia Tech. Not because they are american victims they have more value than the Iraquis and Jews. At the end of the day they are all the same, they are all human beings, and they are all innocent people who don't deserve to die.

  • This was so sad but I thank you for posting it. Sometimes people get so upset when ppl show images like these and say its overkill, but maybe if ppl REALLY knew what what going on out there they would not be so apathetic. You did a wonderful job. btw, what movie is that from at the beginning 20 sec and 6:55?

  • Those scenes are from the TV series "Band of Brothers", If I'm not mistaken it is a 10 part series. The scenes from this video are one of the last episodes of the series when the Allieds finally won the war and are about to discover the holocaust. If there is one episode you need to watch, is that one, I think is call "Why we fight" is a very sad episode, and it kind of gives you the purpose and reason why the World war II was one of the few or maybe the only war we needed to fight for.

  • @jakemyster27How do you think gorge bush got into office. We are just as responsible as him. If you think you can do a better job then go ahead and try, but really, why blame everything on him when put him in a possession where he could do what he did, he did not fall into it, we put him there, so if you would just kindly shut up about all of this I mean really, he has done both bad and good things and there aren't a lot of people who can operate under that amount of stress, so just shut up.

  • WWII and Iraq? You had footage from Vietnam, Korea and Afganistan in there too.

  • it sad when you think about all the children who die duee cto war and violence it breaks my heart when children suffer.

  • this is just wow i wow watch it most defanitly

  • Make George W. Bush and Dick Chenney prove that their privately-owned corporations, the Haliburton Corp.and the Carlyle Group is not making them multi-billionaires from the massive profits on the sales of military-arms and other weapons of mass-destruction, etc... for a war, that they themselves so declared against Iraq while upholding the Oval-Office of the President and Vice-President of the United States of America.

  • As long as the masses are always controlled by the same few corrupt individual families (a.k.a.nepotism), history will always be doomed to repeat it's self...

  • The people of the United States were duped and lied to by the Bush-Administration, just like the peoples of Germany were lied to and duped by Hitler, during WWII.

  • Also, at the "Head of the Class" are the Rothchilds and Rockefeller's, who of course proffitted immensely from W.W.II,. and helped to finance Hitler's War Machine, right from the "get-go"... meaning, they planned it... it didn't just happen by coincidence. Hitler could have never risen to power without their support...

  • And let's not forget Prescott Bush (George W. Bush's grandfather) a Nazi Banker who helped finance Hitler's War Machine, and yet somehow managed to escape Hitler's Germany, after WW II.
