Dr. Ryan Smith discusses a variety of different squat warm-up techniques. He suggests beginning with a five to 10 minute bike or treadmill warm-up. Then, he demonstrates a foam rolling exercise for the back and glutes, leg swings and hip circles (to loosen up the hips), and ends with a few core stability exercises.
