ACK criticises the heightned Mau politics

The charged politicking at the Mau fund raising meeting has also drawn the sharp rebuke of the countrys Anglican bishops who called on politicians not to mix politics with the plight of the suffering. The bishops spoke as families moved out of the Mau forest appealed for supplies including food and blankets at their roadside camps.

Those who failed public recognition thought that by joining a new party in the name of fund raising will head nowhere. There was no national interest in this meeting, it was just a new party being formed coz they fear the powers of Odinga. But what I still wonder is how Uhuru will survive? In 1960's we did not share with Jaramongi. In 2002, we promised Raila but later turned our backs. In 2008, the same was repeated offering powerless PM to Raila. Ruto must know that Uhuru will never share.

That high table at the fundraising had nothing to do with the mau.

Infact seeing Madam shaban, Jirongo, Balala, Mutula, some North eastern province MPs up there with Ruto and Uhuru, I can see only one thing, a new political movement for 2012.

Just like the 2005 referendum gave us ODM, will we now be witnessing another party in the making?
