The F.D.A. Approves a Bionic Eye: Argus II Device Helps the Blind

TimesCast: The Argus II allows Barbara Campbell, who lost her sight 20 years ago, to see the world through patterns of light. Scientists hope it is the beginning of even more treatments.

Many types of eye disease can be stopped if treated early enough nowadays. Nerve and brain damage are often the culprits, because it's much harder or impossible to treat.

There is a very strong chance that stem cell and electronics over the next 10 years will combine to restore eye sight that maybe better than standard eye sight.

There are currently human brain research projects that will enable complete brain modelling that can allow better medical understanding and for procedures for health issue.

? Ok on the 411 and going from Buffalo to Michigan I saw a tornado standing tall & very strong on the Canadian side of the Lakes...and it was not moving. Remember that one? 1985 and I called in 1997 and said there's a lot of people on the roadways with me & they are like thinking I'm a program to them; however I'm like amnesiac ..so i'll hang up now. They showed up 1 or yrs later &no memory ws in effect
