I think the main reason why venom was so lame because of Topher grace he's a limited actor in the sense that he can never play a leading forceful character.Everything seemed very adjusted for someone that couldn't carry the whole.When you read the Dark Knight script it's amazing to find out all things Heath Ledger added to the Joker role and Christopher Nolan was very supportive.limited actors hurt movies and they force directors to take a different direction because of contracts.lol

yeah he was miscast in this movie, he's a good actor just not made for this part.

I think all the spiderman movies were good but the 3rd one just had a little too much going on and venom like you said should have had more time
