This is our *first* project ever, inspired by the bevy of lightsaber duel fan films circulating the web these days. There are minor continuity hiccups, as actually filming lasted only six hours due to scheduling difficulties. Post and pre-production, however, took several weeks.

Please leave constructive feedback, as we're currently working on a second project along similar lines and hope to improve. Your comments may very well work their way into the finished project! Tell us what you like, what you didn't like, etcetera...

To those wondering why in the world we did this, we offer these two reasons:

1) We enjoy the excitement and intricacy of a swordfight.
2) Lightsabers are inherently 'cool' and don't require stupendously complex props to be convincing.

No, we don't believe Star Wars is real. Yes, we had a bunch of fun filming this and have the bruises to remember it by.

There are those who try and make good light saber fights but do not put the time and effort in it to make it good. These guys did and it was awesome.

@ILYAG36 that's right.when a lightsaber slices something,it the cut will not bleed.the heat on the saber is so intense that it cauterized the wound instantly.

And honestly, after reading some of these other comments, I forgot to metion that the fighting was far more entertaining to watch than any of the movies. I like the fact that you chose lightsabers simply for the dazzling effect and really focused on the art of swordplay. That's the primary reason I like to work on these kinds of films as well. Thanks once again.

I must say that the effects aren't quite as perfect as a couple others are but the choreography, music and scenery is absolutely astounding which makes this probably my favorite fan-made duel of them all. Great job guys, I'm glad you had a lot of fun doing this. The sequal is also wonderful.
