Loving Vs Virginia: 40th Anniversary of Interracial Marriage

The three minute commercial starts commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the historic Loving Vs. Virginia court decision.

The commercial features three married interracial couples:

1. Chairman Julian Bond of the NAACP and his wife, Pamela

2. Jim and Collette (Maryland)

3. Hedi and Gina (Massachusetts) -- A an interracial lesbian couple.

Each couple shares how once under the law they were not permitted to marry but because of the Loving decision and the 2004 Massachusetts High Court decision, which permitted gay marriage within the state of Massachusetts they are now legally married.

I love diversity. I learn from everyone and enjoy all types of cultures and share a common love for God, food, & travel w ppl. But saying we are all ONE race is not true and not biblical. Race is tied to culture and home continent basically. I am rooted in Africa and no, my partner from Russia is NOT. People shouldn't justify their love for someone by saying we're all from the human race. Ugh. Don't placate the racists by downplaying race. It's ok to be different races and still we are equal.

This video was all good until they put the Lesbian women in it; there is no way same sex marriage is on the same level as interracial marriage, homosexuality is wrong in every way, you dont choose your race when your born but you do pick your sexuality as your older

The Bible says a lot of crazy ass crap - the core message is good, but you can always find a verse to justify your bigotry or crazy ass ideas. The overall message of "do unto others as you'd have done to you" or "be kind to the stranger in your land" or "my kingdom is not of this world?" Nah - much better to harp on some random ass Leviticus stuff about man on man action and how God will smite you if you go there.

It sick how people never mention about: "Richard Loving and Mildred Jeter" since its part of history and I've went all the way to find out allot of older celebrities before this court case had happen.

Thanks to this court case it became a turning point of our history.
