This is a review of The Warriors (1979), which was directed by Walter Hill. It starred Michael Beck (Swan), James Remar (Ajax), Dorsey Wright (Cleon), Deborah van Valkenburgh (Mercy), Roger Hill (Cyrus), and Joel Weiss (Rogue leader-shootist). The locale is New York City. It dealt with a fateful meeting of gangs, and the consequences for a Coney Island gang. Women and a love-interest were woven into the Warriors' Odyssey back to their kingdom island.
