@ 2:00 he said " there beating off.."

Anybody know what the tube lineup was in the classic goldstar mixing board? It's the one pictured in the black and white photo with Phil standing behind it with his arms outstretched.

Thank you Carol for the wonderful Bass playing on all those wonderful songs!
And thanks to all the surviving "Wrecking Crew:" musicians . I was just a kid when you laid down those tracks, but the music from Goldstar came through load and clear.
Rest assured that this pioneering music is played more then ever all over the world.
Many people such as myself still play the original analog vinyl through all tube amplifiers. Jeff

I would rehearse with her any time! wink wink....

Sonny met Cher when she was singing in the chorus on the Spector recordings. This clip is wonderfully old and corny, and I wish there were more of them.

...and I bet he couldn't be happier..

Everybody knows Sonny Bono was only Phil Spector's catch-fart in those days...

Sonny Bono's (R.I.P.) bob hair & Cher's Go-Go ankle boots ROCKED... & check out all the GORGEOUS OLD ANALOG RECORDING EQUIPMENT- the mixing board looked like it belonged in the flight deck of a Douglas DC-8= totally awesome. LOVE the pale bowling alley-blue, Mid-Century Modern decor & elegant wall sconces - THAT'S what a recording studio should LOOK LIKE & have STOCKED. Pity the FOOLs who later destroyed that studio for "wood paneling"/*ProTools/Logic/DAW/
et al JUNK* which have NO TONE or STYLE.
In fact, everyone is acting hysterical...we never acted like that on a record date, unless it was a farce, and this is a put-on for the camera. No-one acted like that on a real record date. Don't know who the 2nd perc. is, the lighting is so funny. And that is NOT a regular drummer of our group at all, just someone filling in for the camera shots. Singers never sung in the studio like this, this was ALL staged. Carol Kaye

That is Barney Kessel hiding behind his guitar. The fellow in the white shirt is Don Peake. The other 2 guitarists are: Mike Post, bearded one is Al Vescovo. This is a put-on on film, what you're hearing is NOT who is there playing, that's just for show for their TV show, not a real recording date - you can tell because the drummer (weird guy, unknown!) is acting kinda crazy. Yes, Jim Gordon on perc., can't tell who the other perc. is.Cliff Hils on Str. Bass, Lyle on El. Bass. Carol Kaye
