 I think now there seems like a lot more anxst due to status anxiety or alienation the struggle for greed I don't know but advertising and screen culture has the planet by the balls now, it wasn't that sophisticated back then, we had no internet or mobile phones, just metal, high school dramas and the teen struggle, that's how i remember it anyways as a gen X'er .
