This is the pilot model of the Ixion Model Railways On30 "Coffee Pot" steam railmotor, seen running on Ray Cross' excellent small layout "The Cabinet Line" at the Our Town Model Show in Newcastle, NSW Australia on September 4th 2010.
Check out the fibre-optic lighting, and internal coach lighting. The Coffee Pot is a model of the original South Australian Railways NJAB1, which is preserved on the Pichi Richi Railway.
The injection-moulded model is due to be released in October 2010. It is fully ready-to-run, DCC and sound ready.
Ixion is the Anglo-Australian model company; more details of the Coffee Pots (yes, there's also an alternative No.2 variation) can be found at http://www.ixionmodels.com
