Blade 400 first flight of the season

This is the first flight of the helicopter season and the first video of the blade 400. The heli is stock except for the rotor blades which are carbon fiber that I painted myself. I was a little all over the place due to the wind (it was blowing about 15 MPH), however Ididn't do too bad for a beginner. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching.

yes. The rotors are the Eflite carbon fiber rotors that I painted myself. Right now, I'm rebuilding my B400 due to a crash I had last week. It will have a custom paint job also. When it is complete, I will post a video of it with some in flight footage.

That would be a good idea to do with an instructor. It will reduce the learning curve a little.

This would be a nice heli to move up to after mastering the sim and the MCX.

It is larger than the CP pro which means that it will be a little more stable. Just remember it will not be a easy heli to fly ,but with some practice and time on the sim you will be able to master it.

Nice hovering there buddy. Just into my second week of hovering the Blade. Was flying the honeybee before that. Going to try some easy circuits tomorrow if the wind is low.
