i have a 9600gt and AMD Phenom 9750 , 4Gb of ram , and ALL games run on max settings , AMD and nVidia Rocks !

probably missing some system drivers like your Chipset or correct audio drivers aaron.
If it says under Driver provider: Microsoft
then you know you have a default driver, and those cause hellacious lag even on the best of systems.
Oh when you combined the cores clock speeds its called the "Effective speed"
Really honestly just a BS term though.

and the 9800 gt and your getting better fps
i get like 25 fps on medium 1024 768

its like putting a second engine in a car, it doesn't double the speed. sure as hell makes it faster and more powerful though...

i have no need to waste my time finding amd vs intel posts with benchmarks on it. I dont care if the e8400 or q6600 beats all amd processors. the human eye can only see 24fps so 40 fps with an e8400 looks no different than 30fps on a phenom 9850 or athlon64 x2 6400.
