  • You don't have to have a 32-bit system, you just have to have a 32-bit browser

  • @martinjacobd hm. I guess that's another way of doing it. :P

  • kde/dolphin users hit Alt+. (dot) for hidden files

  • thank you! very helpful for noobs in ubuntu. hasta luego!

  • hey having a problem with the install.

when i try to delete the original outdated libflashplayer.so file it tells me i do not have the permisions to do so as im not the owner :(

how can i change permisions on this folder to allow me to delete this file?

its located in the /usr/lib/flash-plugin folder if that makes it easier to make a terminal code, thanksssss, im too stupid for this :(

  • can i use the linux32 program to run this (with 32bit firefox)

  • Thanks for the help

  • @thisweekinlinux It'll work on 64bit OS and Browser with npwrapper, also.

  • wouldent it also make sense to backup the usr directory before installing native control panel

  • Awesome vid, as always, the 2 tech shows on Youtube I watch are:

OSGUI Tech Show and TWIL... both are great for us Linux users.

  • Interesting; I run 64-bit Debian and Firefox 4.0 (64-bit home-build). I just checked my add-ons and it said that I was running Flash 10.3. So apparently Debian knows something we don't...

  • you know you could always make a backup of the usr directory before install the control launcher
