its actually a hair worm it goes inside crickets and grasshopers and brainwashes them in to jumping in water and comiting suicide then the worm comes out once the victem is dead

Thats not a tape worm...its one of those other worms that go into a cricket and conrtol its whole body and make it jump in water to drown himself i think, definatly not a tape worm tho

@suomiusername They have to get back to the water somehow in order to lay their eggs so they somehow manage to manipulate host behavior into seeking out water. I'm not sure how: maybe they release a chemical that makes the host thirsty but that's why I believe
