  • This answer sums up why I became an Edwards supporter in the first place. This is what I want my next President to believe in his core is important.

  • Man, this brought me to tears. We truly need Senator Edwards more now than ever before. All of us.

  • LOL ... "the candidork for the PEOPLE" ... how refreshing to find a sheeple so committed to their boy to take sides with ALL greedy lawyers who abuse our legal system for their OWN personal gain ... p.s. I need another belly laugh so I'm gonna YouTube search "Edwards, feeling pretty" again. .. its f'n hilarious !

  • I find it ironic that you're so concerned about cases having merit when you can't find a compelling argument that your case has any merit whatsoever. As far as Edwards and his intentions, why would he make a speech about something that he has no intention of doing? You have yet to show a reason that he should put a cap on companies' liability. Despite what you think, your ad hominem attacks are not helping you to seem anymore clever or justified in your positions.

  • LOL ... like Edwards, that argument doesn't play well to anyone but a bleeding-heart liberal like the ones Johnny picks to sit on his jury. And still no "speech" about his intent to put caps on liability limits so the other ambulance-chasers like himself would seek out cases with actual MERIT !

  • I wasn't saying they don't carry insurance, I was simply questioning your conflating of products liability insurance and medical malpractice insurance. To carry your argument to it's logical conclusion, the cost of all goods and services would have had to increase on a par with medical insurance. They have not.

  • lol ... it ain't rocket science doofus .. but using your reasoning, McDonalds doesn't carry liability insurance .. they take it out of pety cash lmfao

  • Ms Liebeck didn't sue her doctors, she sued McDonalds. Perhaps you could come up with a few examples that actually support the argument you're trying to make. Ah, but that would require an actual effort to inform yourself. Also, for future reference, when trying to disparage someone else's intelligence it helps if you know the actual words you're employing. I believe the word you were looking for was "punitive".

  • Hey sperm-burper .. if you are not intelligent enough to understand that its asswipes like Edwards who soak the insurance companies of the healthcare providers for 'puntative' far beyond the scope of anybody actual injuries then I'd suggest you get a clue - can't afford one? .. try RENT-A-CENTER you fuckdrip

  • You're right, pri32us, he IS 10. Knows it all, can't tell HIM what to do or say (or, he'll play the "PI" card) and has a tenuous grasp on the reality that is going on around him. And, his buddies (Rush, et al) tell him what to do and think.

  • "Commie?" You're as bad as the people who call Republicans Nazis. That's what's wrong with American politics...know-nothings, that think they know everything, hurling insults.

  • Wow, you are "informed", aren't you? Ms Liebeck was awarded only $2.9 million, which was reduced to $640,000 by the judge. This 79 year-old woman received second and third degree burns on her legs, groin, and buttocks, which required skin grafting all because McDonalds decided not to serve their coffee at a reasonable temperature. And you think that's frivolous? Go inform yourself!
