I like the respect you have for the peyote way. I wish a lot more non natives would have an understanding like you do. Beautiful song! I felt like I had a dream of this song before I heard it. Why do you believe in Jesus but yet, take part in traditional services? In the Bible, it never said mix mankinds traditions with GODs will. If you believe Jesus, then you follow him. Not the will of mankind, with feathers, song birds, drums, and drugs(peyote). You dont need that to seek a vision or healing. Jesus is the only way. His is the same yesterday, today and forever. Dont live in this world or youre gonna be left behind when Jesus returns again. BTW im a native american.

@89NAYG Thanks for sincere remark, friend. Jesus may be prayed to in many ways. Native American Church is good and beautiful way to do this. Since times of Quannah Parker and John Wilson Jesus was always prayed to in peyote ceremony. Also I didn't find a thing which contradicts Bible in peyote ceremony. Many (not all) groups even use Bible in ceremony. You would be surprised how much these guys love Jesus.

And yes, Peyote is not a drug. Helps to love God, Jesus, family and people ;)

Thank you for not saying, "White man" in the song. Another Jesus/ Peyote, medicine song on youtube just broke my heart a bit after I heard it. I wanted to visit their church until I heard the song. Everyone's hands on this planet have been unclean. That is my theory anyway.

@89NAYG everyone worships in a different way. I have talked to rabbis, muslim holy men, priest, and bhuddist monks and from what I gather religion is to be handled with care but faith is universal. The Lord watched over Native Americans as well as all people before other people came to America and he watches us still. We pray to our creator in many ways but there should be respect, love, and understanding between us all as brothers and sisters. I am a christian and Native American as well.
