The Transylvanian Wildlife Project team discovered two illegal poachers traps on their field trip. Situated on a track regularly used by wild boar, the first was a large wire loop snare, and the second a gin style trap large enough to trap a bear. Luckily Barni saw the trap before any team members stood on it. Not only is trapping illegal but you can only imagine the terrible suffering these traps cause to animals. Poachers rarely check their traps daily so the suffering can go on for some time before the animal is discovered and then brutally killed. The second trap was hard wired to a tree but we did manage to successfully remove it. Two less threats to wildlife!

  • Azért én is megjegyzem, egyszerűbb lenne a taposólemezt felemelő pöcköt kiengedni és utána szépen, lassan összezárni a vasakat (a rugónál fogva).

  • Glad you found and disabled that evil looking thing.

  • @fatguyaaron The comments speak for themselves, which is why I don't disable or delete any of them.

  • @Kezdiman Why would I want to scroll through several pages of youtube comments, when the average comment is left by a retard. If you don't want anymore comments, disable them. By the way, I am all for legal trapping, that's how I know how the trap works.

  • @fatguyaaron - Thank you for your very useful and constructive comment, although if you look back through the comments you will see that this has already been discussed several times before.

  • @TheLivingdeadzombies - Thank you for your very useful and constructive comment. This trap is now in approximately 10 pieces after it was cut up.
