there isn't any "gruesome killings" I've read the first 6 vols and watch the first 2 episodes, and the only blood was mostly just injuries and not fatalities..........stupid

kenshin never killed people "for the hell of it." he was never a heartless killer. it's explained in the flashback in the jinchuu arc and in the first oav. he wanted freedom from the tokugawa and he killed because he thought it was for a good cause, but he knew what he was doing was wrong.
