Dear Steve: can you inform us the "quenching gap" of the HHO gas ? , this is probably the distance needed between each SS turn of the spring ..

I have no way of measuring this, however, it is an open gap that is small enough to hold a small grain of sand in. This equates to APPROXIMATELY no larger than .2mm.
Hope this helps!

Are flashback arrestors rated for pressure? What if you run a 50 liters per minute system with a flashback arrestor or two on it but decide you want to run 100 l.p.m.,will the same flashback arrestors work?

Yes and No. The Hammer EX has successfully passed 3 PSI at 12 LPM Hydroxy. I don't know of any arrestor that is rated for that output. All solid state arrestors restrict flow to a certain degree, so a build up of backpressure is likely. On a system like that, 20-30 arrestors would be needed(or a redesign). You would probably build up 30+ PSI, too. VERY dangerous. Watch for the new high-flow HHOG II SledgeHammer this month. It is currently undergoing trials and rated 5UP15(+)!
