@lemigod So, how shall I put this, Pink did write this song herself, de melody and the lyrics, she did on almost all of her songs (in the beginning not all of them), and then there were some others involved to help her create the music behind it, but I'm 100% sure that she was involved every step of the way, so it's HER song, she made the decisions!

@lemigod almost everyone of the song writers the are mostly singers have additional people on their team to help them, especially with certain odd ball songs, and those writers are in the industry to work with multiple artists like The Veronica's, I am a fan of them as well, so yeah, it a genre thing. These of writers help with the melody and such. They're people to bounce an idea around with and circulate amongst many singular artists and such like Pink and others. Where as bands have bandmates
