  • I'm here because this is going to be on the new Paul Maccartney's album! as a cover obviously : ) and I actually really like this song!

  • This song was out when I was a little kid, as well. In fact, I haven't heard it since I was a little kid. I always loved this version, though - used to sing it with this arrangement in talent shows. But, to hear it this evening and remember all the little nuances, and riffs, after not hearing it for so many years was a special thrill. I can't even aptly describe what a thrill it was, something kind of spiritual, actually. Thanks so much for uploading this song.

  • No doubt a later generation got to know this song through the motion picture "You've Got Mail" and its soundtrack album.

  • One of my favorites. I'm not here because of Paul McCartney, I'm hear because of Billy freaking Williams!

  • McCartney!

  • @QcMarcAndre I'm here because of Paul's album to! :)

  • i love this song <3

  • @CheckMate657879 .....I seem to be the only one I know that loved their teenage years. And those school days. So many people say it was the worst time of their lives. I was born in 1943 so my teen years were late 50's and early 60's. I spent them in the small town of Plano, TX and then in the big city, Atlanta, GA. Loved them both and I had a blast. Maybe I had blinders on. :) If so I'm glad to have been shielded, at least for those few years.

  • offa my feet alota kisses on the bottem ill be glad i gottem :)

  • @Judyp77 That's a good description - "brings back only sweet memories of that time" - because Lord knows there were some that weren't so sweet but I suppose the music makes us remember the moments when we were feeling good and those feelings/memories trump all others.

  • @CheckMate657879 ...I know exactly what you mean! I think it's from such an innocent time that it brings back only sweet memories of that time. Wish I was back there now! :)
