@themouseman2010 my goodness, for someone who doesn't like what I have to say you sure do make an effort to watch and comment. Thing is, everyone has different opinions which is great! Wouldn't our days be so boring if we all felt and thought the same thing? My face isn't good you say... again, everyone has a right to their own opinion and one persons waste is another’s treasure :)

I thought this was brilliant, I loved it and book 2. It's going to be a 9 book series.

Shame you don't like it much :) This is my favourite book series. I don't know if you've read the other ones, the story progresses more, it's beginning to get quite complicated! I recommend the other books but maybe if you didn't like this one you won't like those? I don't know, I really like the characters.

@Bazza4207 are you sure its going to be nine? the most recent book (which i haven't finished so give me any spoilers) doesn't have a "Next stop..." thing at the back page... all of them until that one have that

I sadly have to disagree, you might think the book story line wasn't moving ahead because they needed to explain some of the things that were happening in the story and to create twists and turns, and to make the reader feel as if they are actually there with them, but after reading this i couldn't wait to read the next book, so i'm sorry but i have to disagree

I thought it was amazing! One of the best book I've ever read. I have nothing bad to say about. That book is pure genius. But....I understand everyone has an opinion and I respect that. :)

i admit; the first was a tad slow ... make that very slow. the second and third (the doomsday code) were much better. it's probably because they didn't have to explain all the time travel mechanics; they could just jump in for the good stuff. as with most good series, i liked the series for the character progression: you really get an idea of what these characters are like, but scarrow always manages to surprise you.

Also, if you ever meet him you'll find him as a really cool guy! He would also make as a good actor, because he was really funny and enthusiastic and he did an AMAZING impression of hitler! So if you get a chance to meet him, don't miss out!

The author, Alex Scarrow came to my school. He was really cool, and he used to be a graphics designer, then a games designer and finally he became an author, he signed all of the first three books I had bought. I'm sorry but I totally disagree with what you think of the book, I'm reading it at the moment and I think it's better than excellent, it's fantastic!
