  • Its interesting to see people take on history. if you really want to know a city's true history , go to a nursing home and spend an afternoon. Those people got some stories to tell.

  • It's obvious you are not from this area. These CW markers are our history - they mark areas where men had to give their lives because of those who chose to invade their homeland. It's not just the fact that a battle was fought near the marker, it's important to remember that these battles were fought in and around places where people lived, farmed, worked, worshipped, raised families and buried their dead. Raise other markers for additional landmarks - leave our markers alone.

  • Your idea at the end of the video is superb. Unwieldy? I don't see why. Google Earth is already cutting a path in the direction you suggest. I think that the combination of GPS, higher Internet connection speeds, and ever-smaller and more intuitive handheld devices will eventually result in exactly the concept that you detailed
