Arcadio y Clara viven solos en su pequeña casa. Una mañana reciben la llamada de Pedro, su único hijo, y les dice que va pasar una semana con ellos. Arcadio piensa en cortar el viejo árbol que tiene plantado delante de su casa para que su hijo pueda aparcar su coche.
Arcadio And Clara are an old couple, living alone in their house.
They spend their life together, surrounded by calmness and monotony.
One fine day they get a call from Pedro, their only son. Pedro announces he will spend one week with them during the holidays. Arcadio tells Clara what he has thought such as Pedro to be able to park his car just in front of his parents house.
He will chop the old tree planted in their small yard.
From this very moment, Arcadio faces the task of tearing off the tree with his scarce means.
The task becomes harder than what he thought.
