Hi,
Just started 2x2. I just added the 2nd set of 2 poles at 15 ft. From your video it looks like you started the second set closer or maybe it looks closer on the video. What was the distance you used.

Hi there. I taught Sonic 2x2's almost 2 years ago so I can't remember exactly but I know I was very careful to follow SG's DVD and the distances that she used. I'm fairly certain that in Session 5 the poles are approx 15ft apart. I think it's probaby the angle the camera is on. By Session 7 I had moved them in to approx 7ft apart.

Hi there. Glad the video has helped you. I only used motivating words like "ready, steady" etc, to get him pumped up and excited about running to the 2 x 2's to help build drive. I did that the whole way through the process (and still use it if I'm pumping him up to do weaving drills). I didn't attach the word weave until he was doing straight weavers. Hope that helps!
