Life, existence, is always about striving and becoming. Perhaps no athlete/celebrity in the modern era encompasses this better than Tom Brady, QB of the New England Patriots. If life's greatest goals are to fame and fortune then why does Brady still play; why still compete? Whatever position in life, whatever circumstances an individual finds him/herself in, they too can strive like Brady. It matters not whether the public recognizes an individual, but rather the individual recognizes that he/she can also be a modern day warrior, a hero, an Existential individual.
There are many that dislike Brady for various reasons, there are many that dislike my choice of musical affectation. That is something I will not debate over or argue those points.
A modern-day warrior
Mean mean stride,
Today's tom sawyer
Mean mean pride.
Though his mind is not for rent,
Don't put him down as arrogant.
His reserve, a quiet defense,
Riding out the days events.
The river

Is what you say about society.
Catch the mist, catch the myth
Catch the mystery, catch the drift.

Maybe as his eyes are wide.

He gets high on you,
And the space he invades
He gets by on you.
No, his mind is not for rent
To any God or government.
Always hopeful, yet discontent,
He knows changes arent permanent,
But change is.

Is what you say about society.
Catch the witness, catch the wit,
Catch the spirit, catch the spit.

Maybe as his skies are wide.
Exit the warrior,
Today's tom sawyer,

And the energy you trade,
He gets right on to the friction of the day.

Tom Brady is probably the most undermined Quarterback player today, many people hate him thoughtlessly and carelessly, so with that said I love Tom as QB, he takes the game to a whole new level, hope he wins another Superbowl, GO PATS
